Whilst watching Dramas, I find myself somewhat paying attention to the music that plays in the background, don't you?
Whether it's them typical emotional songs when the characters are staring out and reflect or crying (and so on...), the serious ones that play during moments when they're thinking 'seriously' about what to do next or when there's some 'plot' taking place and even them bubbly ones that play when it's them feel-good happy moments. To me, the OSTs of Korean Dramas, (and perhaps other Drama series also) make the Drama itself. It adds somewhat an even bigger impact on the viewers. When I'm watching an emotional scene I find myself, emoting and like reading the lyrics as I can relate...=') Even if I can't relate, I feel like I become a cry baby. Ya'know I never really cried much UNTIL I started watching Korean Dramas. That's when I found myself crying more to things that are onscreen.
Like the next morning when my eyes are puffy...

^ My face, when I'm crying my eyes out during certain scenes of some dramas. Except, I look a whole lot worse. OH WELL. (credit: drama beans) |
And what makes you even more emotional? Well them freakin' OSTs! I switch on the laptop and search up the OSTs from the drama and when the first notes play, danggit...I get this weird sunken-ish feeling on my chest. I mean, they're not bad feelings, they just make you all...emotional. (<-- I really think I'm over using that word now)
They make you 'relive' moments from the drama that you've
True dat bro(s). I still remember the first time I put an OST into my iPod: Boys Over Flowers OST (BOF).

Argh, they're just so good they make me wanna cry-even if they're not sad songs. They defo make up the drama. I hear a song and like BAM, I think of the drama and some scenes/moments associated with that specific song. The singers are good, the melody so heartbreaking/awesome, the intsrumentals so special and magical. Especially the instrumentals...Man, they get to me. The piano solo pieces of some OST songs, makes me wanna learn each and every one of them. If only I could learn piano pieces as easy as say, dance choreography. So gonna at least learn a good amount. They're so awesome, that I'm even going to use them instrumentals as background music for my next party. ;)
So hey guys, I've been planning to do loads of posts but haven't had the 'right' time to do so and I've been rather occupied recently. I'll make sure to try and get going on my ideas. ^ ^
